Health & Safety

At Early Discoveries Center, providing a safe and secure environment for learning and growth is our primary concern. This is why Early Discoveries Center meets and exceeds New York State licensing regulations, NYS Department of Health requirements, and local building and fire codes. The entrances are carefully monitored and have restricted entry. Our centers are hazard free and cleaned and maintained daily.

All staff members are required to maintain up-to-date first aid and CPR certification. Some staff members are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified enabling them to administer prescription and non-prescription medication, if necessary, according to NYS regulations, policies and procedures. Additionally, each center is equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED) and staff are trained to use it in case of a cardiac emergency.

All MAT, AED, CPR, first aid training, and policies and procedures are in compliance with New York State regulations.
